Asunción Valley Farm is a beautiful and serene equestrian facility located in San Luis Obispo County. Owner, Lori Johnston has developed a meticulous breeding program that emphasizes quality over quantity.  As a warmblood breeder, her focus is to produce the ultimate talent with amateur friendly temperaments that will shine in the show ring. She selects the best stallions in the world and carefully matches them to her brood mares that  possess outstanding pedigrees and exceptional performance records.  The result is an elite group of foals with some of the best blood lines in the world, incredible character, and limitless potential. 

 

Located near the banks of the Salinas River, the farm is irrigated by the deep aquifer that allows us to keep our pastures green and our horses happy.  We believe horses need to live like horses.  All of our four-legged friends live in stalls with runs, large pens, or out in grass pastures.  Horses in training have access to grass paddocks or large turnouts daily.  We offer horse boarding for horses in training, retired horses and young horses.
