Blumberg is the perfect example of why Balou du Rouet is such a sought after stallion.  He is a big, athletic horse with a super temperament and powerful gaits.  He was started in the summer and is advancing quickly.  He is extremely willing and very people oriented.  He has exceptional ground manners and hacks out on the trail alone. His pedigree, athleticism and exceptional character, make him an exciting horse for the future

Balou du Rouet's offspring are amongst the most successful in show jumping as well as in eventing. This earned Balou du Rouet a place in the WBHSF rankings of the world's best show jumping sires and the world's best eventing sires for the sixth time in a row - and in the top 20 for both disciplines. Breeding references include the team silver medallist in the Olympic show jumping competition in Tokyo/JPN, Baloutinue/Laura Kraut/USA, the individual bronze medallist at the European Eventing Championships in Avenches/SUI, Corouet/Sarah Bullimore/GBR, and the team gold and individual bronze medallist at the European Young Riders Eventing Championships in Vilamoura/POR, Balento C.S./Emilie Conter/BEL.

Over 85 of his offspring are successful in 1.60m show jumping competitions. This means that Balou du Rouet has long been heir to the throne of his famous father, the Olympic and three-time World Cup winner Baloubet du Rouet. Amongst his successful offspring are the individual World Championship and European Championship team bronze medallist as well as World Cup eighth-placed show jumper Bianca/Steve Guerdat/SUI and the European Championship team gold and silver medallist and individual ninth-placed eventer Billy the Red/Kristina Cook/GBR. Further guarantors of success are Saura de Fondcombe/Nadja Peter Steiner/SUI, European Championship team bronze medallist, Brilliant du Rouet/Liubov Kochetova/RUS, World Championship participant,
